3 easy steps to make tornado, twister or spiral potatoes in an air fryer

Ingredients

  • medium Potatoes russet or yellow - 3

  • melted butter - 2 tbsp

  • olive oil - 2 tbsp

  • garlic powder - 1/2 tsp

  • Paprika - 1 tsp


  • Salt & pepper to taste

Preparation

  • In the bowl, mix the melted butter, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Set aside.

  • Carefully push a skewer through the centre of each potato.

  • Using sharp knife, carefully cut the potatoes into a spiral. Hold the knife at a slight angle and slowly rotate the potato as you cut around. Slices should be about ¼ inch wide.


  • Brush the melted butter over the potatoes

  • Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket, set the temperature to 350°F and cook for 20-25 minutes until the potatoes are crispy

  • Remove from the potatoes from the air fryer and sprinkle with sea salt flakes, parmesan and parsley.
