Spaghetti and Meatballs Made in an Instant Pot

Ingredients

  • Frozen meatballs - 2 bags ( 1lb each )

  • Spaghetti - 2 packs ( 8oz each )  

  • Marinara sauce - 2 jars ( 24oz each )

  • Water - 4 cups 

  • Olive or Avocado oil - 2 tablespoons 


For serving: Parmesan cheese & basil leaves.

Preparation

It turned out that March 9th, which was last week, is national meatballs day. It got me inspired to make this awesome comforting dinner with spaghetti and meatballs. As you already know most recipes on my blog are very fast and simple to make. 

This recipe will beat all the records and you can have a fully prepared and amazing dinner in about 20 minutes with minimum amount of ingredients and effort. This is a one pot recipe!


Start by preparing all the ingredients.

Place meatballs at the bottom of the Instant Pot or Pressure Cooker.

Break spaghetti in half and layer on top. Put some oil over the top so spaghetti don’s stick to the bottom of the pot.

Then layer the marinara sauce on top and top it off with 4 cups of water. No need to stir anything, just leave it as is

Set an Instant Pot for 10 minutes on high pressure. Keep in mind that it takes some time to come to pressure . When 10 minutes are up, do a quick pressure release . 

You can serve it with fresh basil and parmesan cheese. 

Super simple dinner in under 20 minutes….it will become your go to recipe when you have no time to cook. And by the way, it is a kids favorite too, they always ask for the seconds.
